In-Process Inspector (9)

Location:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure each operation and finished products meet workmanship specifications.  
  • Record inspection results on appropriate forms. 
  • Provide immediate feedback to appropriate personnel (i.e. Cell Manager, Team Leader, Process Engineer).
  • Participate in the development and/or revisions of workmanship specifications.

 

Qualifications:

  • Exemplify the Core USI principles: Positive Outlook, Honesty, Determination, Responsibility, and Commitment to Excellence.
  • High School diploma required.
  • Minimum of 1+ of years experience in manufacturing environment performing inspections using a microscope.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blue prints and product specifications.
  • Excellent verbal communications skills.
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience with computers including Microsoft word and excel.
  • Strong teamwork and problem solving skills.
